Very old traditional public houses are rare in these days and the location just opposite the new bridge was lovely. Well worth the 4 hour drive from London. Staff and management were friendly, approachable and accommodating. Parking facilities were fair and plenty but only one disabled parking space which was not nearest to the building. The food was really well priced and very tasty, great value for money and drinks prices were more than fair. The lobby by the rooms is spotless offering books to those who decide that they want to read something. The room was absolutely excellent. I have stayed in 4-5 star hotels that the cleanliness was not quite as good, the bathroom facilities were spotless as well. Private outside smoking area away from the pub front for guests is a really great commodity. Regulars are very friendly and welcoming. 2 minute drive to the Iron Bridge brings you into a thriving area with shops, other pubs and a lot of people. Victorian Village is very close by and other great commodities and museums. Would definitely book again. Great prices. Quite surprisingly Uber eats also has a lot to offer in this area.

Obviously not a modern slick part of an international chain but, in many ways, all the better for that. The pub is obviously popular with the local clientelle as evidenced by the number of 'end of day tradesmen' taking advantage of the real ale on offer. The host greated us with a warm welcome and showed us to our room, which adimittedly was small (rooms were in the days when this pub was built) but had everything needed for a good night's sleep. The bed was so comfortable that if I had come with a van I would have bought it and taken it home. Tea /coffee and biscuits and a bottle of water conveniently presented. Hair dryer also present. The bathroom had all essentials and was spotlessly clean. Easy to use shower with plenty of hot water. The pub menu is not extensive but the food ( we had salads) was nicely presented and very tasty. Full English in the morning completed a very pleasant visit. Anyone visiting Ironbridge for its history will get a better insight into English culture staying here than in a chain hotel. A freindly informal British pub.

Very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Great food, evening meals and fantastic breakfast! Relaxed pub atmosphere with good selection of real ales. Nice additional touches - biscuits and hot chocolate sachets in room, toiletries in bathroom. Lovely location, easy walk to the Ironbridge, museums and local shops. Lots of parking, another bonus. Felt it was really good value for money. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely couple of days.

Originally coming from the area and the Robin Hood being my local, I had no hesitation in staying there on a recent return visit to Shropshire. Warm comfortable en suite room suited our needs perfectly. Full English breakfast to start the day topped off a nice stay at the Robin Hood. Having known Becky, the landlady, for a few years the standard of accommodation was exactly what I would have expected with her in charge.

Situated at one end of Ironbridge, we were able to walk up both sides of the gorge to the view points and grab an ice cream in the town afterwards. It is much more relaxing when you don’t have to use the car all of the time. Cooked breakfast was really good and a lovely coffee every morning. Good variety of cereal on offer and toast every day. Bed was very comfortable and we both slept well.
